About me: I'm a PhD student in Applied Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba. I completed a MSc in Physiology, specialized in Clinical Endocrinology (GPA: 4.0/4.3), and a BSc in Pharmacology (GPA: 3.72/4.3) at the Université de Sherbrooke (Qc). I ran my own stats and published as 1st author; I did many literature searches; I'm specialized in human health (general physiology, endocrinology). I also took creative writing classes so I can help with all kinds of texts.I like to adapt my tutoring to my tutees: frequence, way of tutoring (1-on-1, group, email), length of sessions, etc.
Experience: I've always been the one people turned to to revise their texts, both for grammar and content considerations. Thus I've been correcting essays and giving writing tips to people aged 13 to 30 since 2007. I was also responsible for editing a scientific newsletter during my MSc, and I contribute to CurioCité, a website for vulgarized scientific texts.I have had experiences in helping with basic science concepts (biochemistry, human physiology, pharmacology) since 2013 (all tutees have passed their classes, and with much less anxiousness after their tutoring sessions!).
